The Audi A3 has been one of the dominating compact cars in the past two decades. Ever since its launch in 1996, the A3 made a splendid impression, with a design reminiscent of Volkswagen Golf Mk4.

Initially offered as three-door hatchback, the A3 used five valves per cylinder and was marketed in front-wheel as well as four-wheel drive.
